Jacki has competed, taught and judged Salsa competitions in Los Angeles, New York, Mexico and Sydney. Mentored and trained by World Number 1 and Dancing With The Stars coaches, she brings an internationally refined approach to technique and performance.
Her coaching philosophy is built on making students feel genuinely capable — breaking down complex technique into digestible, confidence-building progressions that stick.
Born and trained in Cuba, Yassy has been dancing and teaching from a very young age. Her journey took her through Melbourne before landing on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, where she brings authentic Cuban movement and a deep musical connection to every class.
Yassy's teaching style is warm, expressive, and deeply rooted in the authentic roots of Latin dance — she makes the subtlety of body movement accessible to everyone.
Together Yassy & Jacki bring the perfect balance of fun and technique — Yassy's authentic Cuban roots and Jacki's international competitive experience combine into a teaching partnership that's genuinely unlike anything else on the Sunshine Coast.
